"Help Me Stay Safe, Stable, and Cover Essential Needs💜

Hi everyone. I'm a disabled transgender woman and wheelchair user asking for help covering essential expenses during an incredibly (difficult) time.

I have been denied disability benefits for the third time. At the same time, my family has been facing devastating circumstances: my mother has been diagnosed with late-stage cancer, my grandmother is now in a nursing home with severe dementia, and my grandfather passed away about 8 months ago. 🕊

I am very grateful that a grant now covers my rent, but I still need help with seizure medication, transportation costs, internet service so I can stay connected and continue looking for remote work, hygeine and personal-care items, and other basic living expenses or emergencies.

Local assistance programs are overwhelmed, and I recently left a six-year relationship that ended in domestic violence. I have very little family support right now and I am doing my best to stay safe, stable, and keep my head above water while my lawyers appeal my disability. 🚍

I am actively looking for remote work, and I recently applied to return to school online for cybersecurity. 💻 I am trying hard to build a more stable future for myself. Right now, I just need a little room to breathe and the ability to get through this difficult period.📶

Thank God, I have fully finished preparing the school supplies and stationery for my children, Mira and Abboud. Joy is written all over their faces; their laughter belongs in the classroom, and their bright, inquisitive minds are eager to learn and grow alongside their friends.
Now, only one small obstacle stands in their way: the center’s $80 registration fee, which I urgently need to cover before the end of the month.

Hello Fedi. Trying to raise $100 to help my partner @LukeOrion and I get our medical cannabis and a few things we need for our move. We’re going to be going back to South Dakota tomorrow where we’ll have a place to stay again and hopefully be able to get back on our feet. Getting cannabis in South Dakota is obviously not the easiest, so we’re really hoping to be able to get some while we’re still in Colorado. We both use it for our C-PTSD, chronic pain, and help with appetite, so it would especially be appreciated right now. We also need to get a few supplies and things for our move (like a couple milk crates to transport my record collection in).
