Trying to get an earlier start on raising for tomorrow’s shelter after needing to ask for extra time from the desk this morning. Trying to raise $86 by 11am MST (August 18) to keep @LukeOrion and I inside another day. The $86 goal is based on what the hotel website is currently giving for a price and might be adjusted later. The past two morning the actual price in the morning has been slightly different than it said the night before (this morning it was slightly more, the morning prior it was slightly less).

Hello Fedi. Really hoping that @LukeOrion and I are able to get support. We need to raise $140 by 11am MST tomorrow morning so that we can keep staying inside for two more nights. We’ve been having to use the savings we need for a car lately, and we *NEED* that to get a car so that we can get to South Dakota at the end of the month. On top of that, I need to see a dentist ASAP for an infected tooth, but can’t because we can’t afford the Uber to get there. We need to be able to get support so that we’re not indefinitely stuck in this position. We have an actual opportunity to get back on our feet again at the end of the month, but can’t if we don’t get the support to survive until then.

Feeling a little bit disappointed and frustrated. @LukeOrion and I didn’t get any additional donations and we ended up booking just tonight. Meaning we had to take from our car savings AGAIN, which is now several hundred dollars lower than it should be. REALLY hoping for better luck for tomorrow. The room is $150 for the next two days inside. That’s what we need to raise by the morning. If we have to keep using our car savings to stay inside we’re never going to be able to get a car and back to South Dakota at the end of the month.
