<p>NOTE: There have been several people in particular here on the <a href="/tags/fediverse/" rel="tag">#Fediverse</a> that have been insanely generous with <a href="/tags/mutualaid/" rel="tag">#MutualAid</a> for a couple of mentally-ill queer guys and their obese border collie. I could really use everyone else's help if possible to give these (essentially) guardian angels a reprieve.</p><p>If you've found my shitposts to be funny, or my philosophical takes to be thought-provoking (regardless if said thoughts are those of disgust), or are one of the few people who haven't already turned off my boosts and find them entertaining, please consider pitching in a little if you haven't already.</p><p>It takes a village and I could really use the village's help.</p><p>-------------------------------------------------</p><p>I am posting this despite an ever-growing desire to just give up and let it all burn. It is so embarrassing to have to continue doing this over and over. I am so sorry.</p><p>This month, working with a skeleton crew because of cutbacks was -- and remains to be -- hellish.</p><p>Thankfully my upcoming weekly hours have finally increased, in a couple of weeks I'll have a full, 40-hr work week. While it's still not enough for us to survive on in our current circumstances, it will at least allow us to be slightly less burdensome to the community.</p><p>However, I need a properly working vehicle to commute to my job due to the lack of reasonable transit options.</p><p>Our auto insurance is past due, and I still haven't had the time or money to get the emissions done. My plates are already a concern because I apparently forgot to ever put last year's reg sticker on it which is now lost in the storage unit we're on the verge of losing.</p><p>On top of all of this, the other day when I was in a hurry trying to get my meds that I'd gone almost a week without, misjudged traffic in my (even more impatient than normal due to the lack of meds) haste and had to nail a curb to avoid an accident.</p><p>So I ripped a hole in the sidewall of a tire my mom had to pay for after less than a year of use thanks to my stupid goddamned impatience. The previous set of tires were on that car for more than than *ten* years.</p><p>That was when I posted something to the effect of "this is a dark and ugly day".</p><p>Anyway.. so I'm driving a dirty, beat-up, 19 year old car with a spare donut tire, plates that *appear* to have expired a year ago, registration that *actually* is going to expire this weekend, and insurance that's about to expire the same time. I'm uncomfortable with those odds.</p><p>Fuck me this being poor shit is getting old. I am physically and emotionally raw, from a job that gave me an inflation-adjusted annual raise of one penny per hour a couple of months ago, implemented just in time for them to gut payroll for May. Neat! I guess I should be grateful I have a job, yada yada.</p><p>So, in summary - I need to at least keep my car insured, registration current, and replace the nearly-new tire I destroyed due to stupidity. <p>hey, question.<br>Are you people willing to help me move to a much safer country?<br><br>I live in Argentina, we already had our own socioeconomic and political bullshit for years and then Milei brought fascism here, so i've been feeling really scared and worried over if my rights as a trans woman will be eventually taken away completely.<br>The recent executive order in the USA reminded me how fast shit can change for the worse in places led by fascists.<br><br>However, there are two countries in South America that are also really close to mine, which also happen to be in a much better socioeconomic and political situation (at least to my standards) and still have guaranteed protections for queer people: Uruguay and Brazil.<br><br>I've been thinking of moving in one of these two countries so I can finally live safely and be able to transition without worrying that I will end up dead. <br>I wanna also be able to eventually provide a place where my partner(s) and close friends can live safely, although I will try to focus on my own survival first.<br><br>I know moving to another country is extremely difficult, and I'm a 24 year old NEET so I don't really have the resources to even move to another province of my country yet. <br>I'm very desperate to be able to live without being persecuted due to my identity, so it would be nice if you all could help me reach to that goal.<br><br>After some calculation on my end along with getting help from people and the Internet, i'm asking for $7466 USD in total (will include traveling, immigration expenses, living and rent for 3 months while i try to seek a job after i arrive there, etc)<br><a href="/tags/mutualaid/" rel="tag">#mutualaid</a><br><br><a href="https://ko-fi.com/snugglybun" rel="nofollow"><span class="invisible">https://</span>ko-fi.com/snugglybun</a></p>

<p>I'm back from the denturist. He said my gums are getting damaged by the current immediate dentures & obtaining fixed ones would help with that & with eating more foods. The fixed dentures aren't as expensive as immediates were but they are still costly & not covered by my pharmacare. I am a disabled death doula/death care aide, working on independent contracts basis & have no additional health insurance coverage.
