Just released #Nicolium v0.2.1. It includes minor fixes and accessibility improvements. I improved the GIF auto-play setting so when it's toggled off (which is the default), you need to hover an image for more than 0.5 seconds to start the animation. And GIFs in link preview cards are no longer played unconditionally.

you can now pin instance shoutbox to the sidebar on Pleroma instances running #Nicolium (Settings -> Appearance -> Customize sidebar items), currently available in develop branch

Hot 竹 : #phanpysocial way of displaying Replies in context (a minima one post up the thread) should be the standard. Otherwise displaying replies in TLs is useless.

#Nicolium and #Elk are the only Masto web front-ends to do it afaik as I know (well most of the times but not always I dunno why...)

I really wish there were some tab/toggle for "show me posts of that user without boosts" in #pleroma / #nicolium / whatever-client-i'm-using.

Most of the time it's faster to scroll through my local TL instead of my own profile if I'm looking for something I've posted recently.

A working search field would help too, but that might be too much to ask?

If I self-host anytime soon my choice would probably be #Mitra Backend with #Nicolium Frontend
