That means a say in governance, even if you’ve never touched server admin in your life. No gatekeepers, no random fiefdom-builders—just collective ownership.<br><br>And I’m also digging into how to make starting your own Fediverse server dead simple. Because this shouldn’t be a privilege for the technically savvy. It should be accessible to everyone.

I'm going through the registrations and letting people in, but I can't accommodate everyone. <p>If you post videos on <a href="/tags/peertube/" rel="tag">#PeerTube</a>, remember that most of your potential followers aren't on PeerTube but on other Fediverse platforms.</p><p>People from Mastodon etc can follow and interact with your videos without ever joining PeerTube, because PeerTube is part of the Fediverse.</p><p>If you have a Mastodon etc account, you can encourage your followers to also follow your PeerTube account by mentioning it, so they can follow it in one click.
