Watching the running of the horses at the end of day, where the horses are taken from one pasture to another. I loved the intense look the lead rider's horse had.

There are many of these apple trees in my area, in abandoned fields and along the roads. They appear to be escapees from very old orchards and they have naturalized over time. I've heard that local growers are trying to reproduce these trees, in an effort to revive ancestral varieties of apples that are well adapted to the harsh climate.

swansinflight.nz #photography website updated with a new gallery theme on #hugo. Is far zippier than the old one, which is nice.

Now I need to finish processing my backlog and get them up - luckily no one pays me for this.
