Accidental and uplifting find - for a jaded, lifelong Beatles fan, who has seen a lifetime of documentaries & now 'reels'.

George was long a spiritual observer, a lone voice both by choice and exclusion, while 'living in the material world' during Beatlemania and beyond.

I'd thought of Ringo - lone voice too, to John & Paul - as the photographer. Of course Paul's wife Linda, a pro... But George through his (camera) lens! ♥️

Sie sind fein und seidig und bilden einen luftigen, fast watteartigen Schopf, der die Samen beim Abfallen vom Blütenkopf davontragen lässt. Das Bild fängt die zarte, fast schwebende Struktur dieser Federn wunderbar ein, und das Licht bricht sich darin teilweise in Regenbogenfarben. --- The photo shows a close-up of the seeds of the common thistle with their fluffy plumes (pappus). They are fine and silky and form an airy, almost cotton-like tuft that carries the seeds away as they fall from the flower head. The image beautifully captures the delicate, almost floating structure of these plumes, and the light refracts through them, sometimes creating rainbow colors.$

Hier à 20h13, le #soleil est officiellement couché depuis une minute et à 20h17, la #lune, illuminée à 88 %, se mire dans la #flaque parmi les rochers, au-dessus de la ceinture de Vénus.
Les derniers amateurs de #plage s'en vont sous un très timide pilier solaire.

Yesterday at 8:13 p.m., the #sun had officially set one minute earlier, and at 8:17 p.m., the #moon—88% illuminated—was reflected in a #puddle among the rocks, above Venus’s belt.
The last beachgoers were leaving under a very faint sun pillar.

Diptyque sur fond blanc d'une photo de coucher de soleil de format horizontal et d'une photo en format vertical, présentant une presque pleine lune, au même moment, à quelques minutes, près, au-dessus de la ceinture de Vénus.
Les deux photos ont été prises au même endroit à cinq minutes d'écart au bord d'une côte rocheuse, mais pas très loin d'une plage de sable fin décor la première photo du coucher du soleil avec un très timide pilier solaire. La seconde photo est plus rocheuse, mais avec une flaque de quelques mètres carrés parmi les rochers où se reflète la lune dans le ciel encore bleu, alors que la ceinture de Vénus ou arche anticrépusculaire prends une couleur rosée au-dessus de l'horizon marin.
