I shot a lighted boat parade in Monterey, CA last weekend. <a href="/tags/photography/" rel="tag">#photography</a> <a href="/tags/christmas/" rel="tag">#christmas</a> <a href="/tags/parade/" rel="tag">#parade</a> <a href="/tags/boats/" rel="tag">#boats</a>

A sailboat adorned all around with white Christmas lights floats down through a dark harbor with a line of other lighted boats trailing it. On the sailboat are around a dozen people with several of them holding up umbrella like objects strung with multi-colored Christmas lights arranged to look like jellyfish.

The dogs got really interested in a tree in the woods that had a split in it, so I went to investigate and found these mice all lined up in there. A serene, autumnal forest scene centered around a narrow, still canal. The canal acts as a central leading line, drawing the eye toward the center of the frame.

Because the water is so calm, it creates a near-perfect mirror reflection of the sky and the surrounding trees.

The ground on either side of the water is blanketed in a thick layer of reddish-brown fallen leaves. On the left bank, a few green ferns persist, offering a small hint of green amidst the transition to winter.

Good morning! For this <a href="/tags/silentsunday/" rel="tag">#silentSunday</a> I want to share this <a href="/tags/foggy/" rel="tag">#foggy</a> path with you.I was on my way down and when I entered the fog, temperature really dropped. Actually I didn't want to stop or slow down in order to avoid cooling out. But at this spot I had to take a quick break for a quick photo to capture the memories of this day. This image portrays a tranquil winter scene in a forest. Tall, leafless trees stand on either side of a narrow, snow-covered path that winds its way through the woods. The ground is blanketed in a layer of fresh snow, creating a serene and peaceful atmosphere.

A light mist or fog fills the forest, softening the outlines of the trees and adding a sense of mystery and calm.
