Shot the annual Shiny Side Up bike and car show in San Jose yesterday... no, it's not that kind of bike show.

This is a very Northern California kind of show. It's a low rider "cruiser bike" and low rider car show with other kinds of bike and bike related celebrations included.

One of those bike celebrations are BMX stunt performances. I'll have additional photos from the show coming soon, but some of the BMX shots are just too fun not to share.

Man doing BMX stunts is flying through the air in a fully outstretched prone position where he and his small bike are parallel as they arc over a air bag padded landing ramp. The only part of him touching the bike are his hands holding the handlebars.

Man doing BMX stunts has just launched off of the bicycle stunt ramp and is high in the air. His hands are on the handlebars, but it looks like he's leaping over his handlebars in mid-air because his bike is below and slightly behind him.

Man doing BMX bike stunts is about 15 feet off the ground and upside down having just launched off of the bike ramp. He's doing a hands-free back flip on his bike and both arms are outstretched to his sides as bike and rider rotate backwards through the air.

Man doing BMX bike tricks is in mid-air after performing a hop where he bounces his bike up in the air and spins the handlebars backwards before sticking a landing on only the back wheel into a wheelie. There are people standing around the street watching him.

I didn't really do portraits before, but I've done a few with the RB67 and I love how it looks so much.

I tried so far the Delta and the HP5+, and I find the delta grain too soft.I want to try a color film next.
