Slowly the first signs of #autumn arriving here in #thenetherlands. That's for me always an interesting period. The light becomes #magical, fog makes my scenes even greater, and colors slowly change for more interest. For now, I make the most of it while the leaves are still on the trees

Weather? (t)

Why umbrellas exist. So you can get out in some weather instead of just plain old sunshine.

🍅 Tomatoes are basically the drama queens of the garden.

Too much water? They complain.
Too little water? They complain.
Perfect weather? Somehow they still find a way to split. 😂

But when that first ripe tomato finally appears… suddenly all is forgiven.

What’s the most frustrating thing about growing tomatoes? 👇

'See oder Teich' #FotoVorschlag

#Fotografie #Photography #Natur #Naturfotografie #Nature #NaturePhotography #Landschaft #Landschaftsfotografie #Landscape #LandscapePhotography

English: The image is a black-and-white photograph of a mountainous landscape. The central subject is a small, dark lake or pond nestled in a valley surrounded by rugged, rocky hills. The terrain is uneven, with sparse vegetation covering the slopes. Natural sunlight casts shadows that enhance the texture of the rocks and vegetation. The composition is framed by a tree branch in the foreground on the right, adding depth to the scene. The monochromatic style deliberately emphasizes contrast and texture over color, underscoring the rugged, austere beauty of the high-alpine landscape — matching the elevation of roughly 2,000 meters where the photo was taken.

A great blue heron stands among shady grasses at the shallow end of a large mill-pond. Smooth shadows cast a cool blue color over the heron. Dapples of reflected sunlight spot the shadowed throat and pick out the line of its jaw beneath its bright yellow eye. The heron stands in front of a bank of grasses growing fan-like out of the water. Behind them, bright sunlight fills the sunny summer pondscape. The heron’s reflection in the smooth water is sharp and clear up to the neck. There, a set of thin ripples blurs the heron’s long neck into its head and turns the long beak into a dark blue streak in the water. The mood is tranquil.

#SilentSunday #Photography #BlackAndWhite #Squared

Square black-and-white photograph. A narrow paved path curves from the lower right into dense, dark woodland. Slightly right of centre, a person is seen from behind with their hands held behind their back, silhouetted against a long, bright patch of light on the path. A large, rusty water pipe runs along the left side of the path, extending diagonally from the blurred lower-left foreground into the distance. Fallen leaves are scattered across the paving, and branches arch overhead. Pronounced grain is visible throughout, with deep shadows surrounding the illuminated section of the path.

It was an extraordinarily sunny autumn day as the leaves shone in their orange, red, and yellow colours, effectively filling my soul with euphoria.
