My thieving tendencies come down to this: if I see something just lying around, I can't resist the urge to take it. This has netted me numerous children's toys from the town park, flip-flops at the beach, and backpacks & cellphones left at cafe tables. It's not the value or utility of the object, it's the availability. /Here I am! Come take me!/
