A banda é alemã, mas a música é sobre o Brasil: aqueles tempos tenebrosos que vivemos alguns anos atrás.

Punx.social is now translated to English!
Summer break is over and now, as promised, the complete punx.social website is also available in English:
https://punx.social/en (or you click the English button on top.
Also the code is prepared to be translated by the community (you!) into any other language.
If you wanna help, ping us.
Or have a look at:
https://codeberg.org/fedipunx/punxsocial#how-to-start-a-new-translation
If that's too complicated, please let us know, and we will try something else.
P.s. Dear translation bubble: this is a non-commercial website from the community to the community, that's why we ask the community. No one is earning money here with this project, that's why we can't hire a professional translator. Just before everyone of you starts complaining again.

Hi. This blog mostly features my adorable cats, Joey and Sheena. Thank you for occasionally indulging me when I post non-feline things.
I just published my novel, Water Dogs. It's the best book about midwestern teens from the 1970s discovering punk rock and saving the universe that I've ever written. Please buy lots of copies from Barnes & Noble (or Amazon).
This week Fire Red Sky's digest casts its eye over the week in alt rock, punk rock and indie music and chooses to highlight for your reading/watching/listening pleasure:
Talking Heads, The Baby Seals, Circle Jerks, Suede, Chvrches and more...

even amongst the rebellious throngs of her corvidae crew, the magpie is the DGAF-est of them all. curious, clever, dressed to impress & so resourceful that two tools are all she needs, this charming gobshite will steal your heart every time.

We can grow something better! #Fediverse Punk Month 🖤
"We invest too much of our culture in centralized, for-profit, corporate social media platforms. These platforms enrich billionaires, expand surveillance, and fund the cult of capitalist war, all while trapping us with addictive algorithms that feed us mindless content. It feels necessary to be on these platforms to "stay connected", yet paradoxically they increase our isolation. Their purpose is to extract profit, not to help us connect.
Instead of jumping between online capitalist corporate platforms, we propose a radical alternative that's actually aligned with punk values: the Fediverse, a network for open, autonomous, decentralized, not-for-profit, and DIY social media.
The Fediverse is an interconnected network of social media platforms..."

One of the greatest punk rock bands of all time, fractured and irreconcilable 🤬 💔
40 years ago today,
The Dead Kennedys played their last concert with Jello Biafra at UC Davis' Freeborn Hall, February 21, 1986
Phranc, Mojo Nixon, and 7 Seconds were the support acts.

The first all-female punk rock group The Slits made their live debut, opening for The Clash at the Harlesden Coloseum (often cited as the Roxy Club) London, March 10 & 11, 1977
Buzzcocks and Subway Sect were also on the bill

We don’t give a shit! Falls jemand fragt, wir haben’s drauf!
