Into The Dome
The Palace Of Fine Arts is one of ten structures of this nature built for the 1915 Pan-American Exposition in San Francisco California. In 1964 the building was completely demolished with only the steel structure of the hall still left standing. It was rebuilt with a lightweight poured in place concrete. In 2010 the dome was seismically retrofitted.
