There's kind of a... trend on the fedi, where ppl's nudes and spicy pics are being scraped and shared without permission. Usually, the ppl sharing argue something like:
"I found it on the Internet, it was public! So its already out there and fair to share."
Or
"Okay but I gave credit to the artist / model!"
I mean tbh? No.
Permission means either u ask, or u follow an explicit agreement from the model / artist to share. So...
"Sure, random person, u can share my nudes!"
Or
"Copyright section: U may share these nudes under X license."
If neither of those are true... don't fking share.

"Okay Elle but what about boosts?"
My take on that is that if the ARTIST or MODEL posted and they enabled boosts, then boosting is okay. If they turned of boosts, then respect that and don"t repost.
"This is ridiculous! They shared online!"
It isn't. Posting on OF or Reddit or IDFK Insta doesn't meant they want them here. And the 'but its out there already' argument is gross; they still have the right to choose who gets to share, and that's LEGALLY correct.
TL;DR: Don't be a creep. Get permission, boost ppl here who consent.
