It's been a while since I try out ivory on snac2. It used to struggle with updates in a way that mona doesn’t, but plenty of updates on both sides since then.

Adding the neighborhood feed to snac has been great as a curated “public” tab. I wonder if I can expose it as a list so it shows up on the clients. It's a shame I can only use it on web.

I successfully moved the #snac2 instance to another machine which gets routed through #wireguard

so I am hopefully back online.

just append the url with ?terse=true

the other day i took some time to install #snac2 on my small server. the whole experience was a breath of fresh air, and it made me excited to participate in the #fediverse again, this time owning and controlling my own data.

i just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you to @grunfink and other snac2 developers and contributors for this awesome human-made, human-scale software. i'm looking forward to trying to contribute to it in whatever small ways i can.

Can people "post" stuff to a person's INBOX if
they don't have any relationship? (in ActivityPub)

That might explain why I have a single instance snac
server, and still get basically spam posts.

I know I get something similar to that when there is
like a secondary relationship thru someone i am following.
But these things I see seemingly have no connecting relationships.

Is it possible to have my snac instance use TOR to federate *and* to have it available over clearweb at the same time?

Would this mean that my instance pulls data from other instances using TOR, but other instances would only use the clearweb to pull data from me, so they could be blocked at the national level?
