I've come to the conclusion that, while I am still using #Windows 11 out of inertia, it's time to contemplate an exit plan towards #Linux . The switch won't be any time soon (I have too much other stuff on my plate for the foreseeable future), but I do want to avoid paying further license fees to #Microsoft .
Major areas of concern:
- My #Steam library. I am by no means a heavy gamer, but I want to check if the major games I enjoy are known to work on Linux.
- Migrating away from #GoogleDrive towards #NextCloud is going to be a major chore, but it's something I can start in advance.
- I am a very heavy user of Notepad++ for my #TeXLaTeX typesetting, so I need a replacement whose user experience comes close (and no, neither vim nor emacs count).
As for what distribution to choose... I dunno. Lots of people at my place of work use #Debian , so maybe that would be a good idea?

95% / 28hstory: 4.5⭐game design: 4⭐gameplay: 3.5⭐music & sound design: 2.5⭐ui: 4.5⭐[no spoiler]crazy to think this game is its own story, while taking plot points from 6 movies and 4 video games, without even counting the easter eggs of about EVERY SINGLE DC MEDIAS THAT HAVE EVER EXISTED.what a good time to be a batman (or even a dc) fan and getting all the little references. like most LEGO medias, we can tell all this was made with love for the franchise.they even added a few memes only a few redditors would understand.the number of costumes and obscure reference is insane. I LOVE WHEN A GAME LETS ME COLLECT OUTFITS!!!!the jokes are even better as what you would expect from a LEGO game, even as an adult.the gameplay is fun, not too hard, maybe a little repetitive sometimes. i still managed to get it to almost 100%, completed the whole map and all the side quests without feeling like i was doing chores.i didn't really care much about the fights, even tho i enjoyed the arkham feels, it wasn't as good as the other games.the puzzles are nice tho. some of them are very easy, but i had to really think for others.a few glitches here and there that can be infuriating, but it didn't ruin the game for me.the overall ux is not the best as well, i hope an update could fix some stuff.i reeeeally want LEGO to take this opportunity and build a bigger DC Universe of their own, outside of Gotham.

I suggest we protest against #Steam over its excessive fees, both the cost of publishing games on the platform and the large cut it takes from each sale
If users dont listen because they are happy with Steam and unaffected by this, we could price our games higher on Steam than on other platforms to encourage people to buy them elsewhere
This seems like a solid and realistic idea to me, since given Steam's monopoly, many of us simply cant afford to avoid releasing our games there

成就解锁：对面在Hack我们家的FOB，还封了烟，直接一手混烟除颤器电死两个敌人，获得成就“请勿复苏”：使用除颤器电击击杀一名敌方玩家
打野地迫击炮也打爽了，在野地里搭建迫击炮轰炸对面FOB区域，打10炮左右就换一个地方，整局建了大概20门迫击炮，干掉了两辆复活车，若干载具建筑和27个人头，拿到全场现金第一了

what a sequel, holy shit.
story wise it has everything i was expecting for, following the first game.
maybe a few redundancy here and there and the dialogs could be improved, but i was at the edge of my seat the whole time during the last act. (even tho i guessed the main twist less than 10 hours into the game)
Kojima's way of mixing a serious story with goofy elements is awesome. the exact type of storytelling i love.
to be honest, i'm mostly playing Death Stranding for the story anyway.
even tho the gameplay can be fun and interesting, i cannot say that going back and forth for dozens of hours is what i find appealing in a game.
and yet, i'm having fun?? because while i do that i get to follow the story. not just the main story but the side quests too!
maybe we don't have enough side quests btw. a shit ton of meaningless orders that are only rewarded by likes.
i wanted to do everything and even i got bored of it... my completionist mind is a bit frustrated...
i still love how the gameplay reinvents itself while we progress. i like how we don't start from zero, totally forgetting what we got in the first game. it's refreshing!
third game that takes place in Europe when???
