About that Telegraph article dissing young disabled women: I'm noticing the crossover with anti-trans rhetoric, like the framing of "social contagion". It's a kind of "They're wrong about their own lives. We know what's good for them."
Also notice how the same trajectory of argument has latent potential against abortion access. "What if they regret the abortion? What if they're only thinking that way because it's what their friends would do? These people aren't mature enough to decide. We should make that decision _for_ them."
Let alone access to sterilisation.
