Hesitation Marks is the eighth studio album by the American industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails, released on August 30, 2013, by The Null Corporation and distributed by Columbia Records in the United States and Polydor Records elsewhere. It was the band's first release in five years, following The Slip (2008), as well as their only release on Columbia. Like previous albums, the album was produced by frontman Trent Reznor alongside longtime collaborators Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder. To date, this is the most recent Nine Inch Nails album to be co-produced by Moulder.

The album's title is derived from the term "hesitation marks", which is used to describe marks that are produced by testing a bladed weapon before attempting suicide or self-harming. The cover art also varies for each edition of the album. The record was promoted with three singles: "Came Back Haunted", "Copy of a", and "Everything", as well as the Twenty Thirteen Tour and two accompanying extended plays, Live 2013 EP and Remix 2014 EP. Trip-Hop起源于９０年代英国Bristol一地，在欧洲不断面临美国Hip-Hop侵入的冲击之时，英 国的DJ们即开始将Hip-Hop发展成自己的风格，他们将Hip-Hop的速度降慢（较为down tempo），强调沉重缓慢的鼓声及Bass，抽掉Hip-Hop中的Rap，以及Sample些老旧唱片，于是 形成了所谓的Bristol Hip-Hop（Trip-Hop之前身，当时尚未有Trip-Hop这个名词）；而９１年推 出首张唱片《Blue Lines》的Massi00ve Attack则带动了这一波Bristol Hip-Hop运动（人们称之"First Coming Of Bristol Sound"，Bristol Hip-Hop时期的风格并不是那么地刻意要营造黑暗诡谲的气 氛），至于真正Trip-Hop兴盛的关键时期则是在９４、９５年Massive Attack推出第二张唱片《Protection》，以及Portishead和Tricky的掘起；从Portishead女主唱Beith Gibbson颓废、慵懒的唱腔加上６０、７０年代老旧唱片的sample（甚至唱片的杂音），到Tricky喃喃自语般愤世嫉俗的低沉声音，将Bristol sound营造出了一种迷幻抽象、黑暗诡谲的新环境；于是便有杂志将他们这种音乐型态称之为"Trip-Hop"（人们称这段时期为"Second Coming Of Bristol Sound"） P.S.事实上Massive Attack，Portishead，Tricky彼此间有着微妙的关系。Massive Attack的三位成员和Tricky原都是"The Wild Bunch"（1982年由Nelle Hooper主导的团体）的成员，所以Massive Attack歌曲中常有Tricky的参与；而Portishead的成员Geoff Borrow则曾在Massive Attack《Blue Lines》中参与制作。

Heligoland is the fifth regular studio album from the collaborative British music production duo Massive Attack, entitled after the German archipelago of the same name. It had been officially released everywhere except North America by 8 February 2010 (US and Canada on 9 February 2010) – seven years after the release of their previous non-soundtrack, standalone studio album, 100th Window.

Collected is a compilation album by British trip hop collective Massive Attack, released on 27 March 2006. The album was preceded by the release of the single "Live with Me" on 13 March. It collects most of the band's singles up until this point.

Mezzanine is the third studio album by English electronic music duo Massive Attack, released on 20 April 1998 by Circa and Virgin Records. Produced by Massive Attack and Neil Davidge, it saw the duo expanding their trip hop sound to electronica stylings,[1] with diverse influences from new wave,[2] rock, hip hop, and dub music.[3]
Mezzanine topped the charts in the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand, becoming the group's most commercially successful album to date. It spawned four singles: "Risingson", "Teardrop", "Angel", and "Inertia Creeps".

"Teardrop" is a song by Massive Attack, which was released as a single on 27 April 1998. It is the second single from their third album, Mezzanine. The song became another UK hit for the group, peaking at number 10 on the UK Singles Chart. Vocals are by Elizabeth Fraser of the Cocteau Twins.
The song, especially the instrumental portions at the beginning and the end, has been used in numerous TV programmes and movies. The bass drum beat, reminiscent of a heartbeat, was used in the opening theme of the U.S. medical television series House. It also featured as incident music in a 2001 episode of Coronation Street when Sarah Platt is chased and then again at the end.

Discovery is the second studio album by French house duo Daft Punk, released on 26 February 2001 by Virgin Records. It marks a shift in the sound from Chicago house, which they were previously known for, to disco, post-disco, garage house, and synthpop-inspired house. The album later became the soundtrack of the anime film Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem, which was a collaboration between Daft Punk, Leiji Matsumoto, and Toei Animation. All of the music videos for the tracks on the album are segments of the film, which follows a story of a kidnapped extraterrestrial band.
Discovery is recognized as a concept album in reviews by New Musical Express and Spin magazines. Early versions of the album included a "Daft Club" membership card. The card included a code which granted access to an online music service, which featured tracks later released on the album of the same name and Alive 1997.
