这是一个关于宝藏和孪生兄弟被人利用相互廝杀的故事，被认为是楚原执导得最佳影片之一，傅声的出演更是让影片变得独具特色，他在片中饰演的那位最终找出自己父母死亡真相的功夫少年的形象，给观众留下了深刻印象。可惜傅声在29岁时因车祸英年早逝，实在令人惋惜。
