@prometheanbound As long as you go into it looking for an irreverent good time I think you’ll enjoy. It’s making fun of Street Fighter, but in a way that’s also very respectful of it. And 50 cent is a lot of fun in this. Been meaning to watch Bad Trip for a while. May have to make a real point of that soon.

finished watching Jackass Season 1 🌕🌕🌕🌕🌗
Constrained by the limitations of what could be shown on TV back then, this is a far tamer and much more palatable for the masses way to experience the absolute insanity of the Jackass crew than the movies are. I love how it’s all shot like a bunch of home videos. Really sells the vibe of a group of regular people/friends getting together and doing stupid stuff. There is the occasional lamer skit (egg eating/puking challenges), but for the most part it’s watching these psychos injure themselves and perform public pranks in ways that are pretty dang hilarious. The latter of which they had done more in their films.

@prometheanbound Was it that the Cenobites used to be human maybe? Might have just been the way the movie handled it, but I remember thinking that was super lame.

@prometheanbound I don’t want to get your hopes up in case it happens to not click with you, but I think you’ll really enjoy it if you’re a fan of the movie. It’s not just me, the buzz from nearly everyone who’s played it is that it gets Hellraiser very right. Don’t want to spoil how, but it is definitely more than just the film’s aesthetics.

@prometheanbound Oh yeah, the game is awesome. Working on a review for it that I’m hoping to have out soon. Really want to read the book at some point. As for the movie sequels, sounds like you’ve watched the best ones already. The rest are largely crap imo. Worth checking out just to say you’ve seen them all though. I think that really helped me appreciate the game even more.
