与许多观众不同，我觉得这部片子里的动画，还有其它一些怀旧影片拍摄手法，与它想要推送的信息相比起来有些…廉价。片子结尾仿佛想要告诉观众们LSD还有很多需要研究的东西，这种展望未来的心态与怀旧风格形成鲜明冲突。在看到安东尼波尔丹和凯瑞费舍尔出现时，我不禁怀疑，这部影片到底是何时筹划拍摄的，彼时导演的初衷是否只是怀旧，只是由于发行方和政府策略的调整，才有了这样一个莫名的结尾。

说实话，此片这种近乎原生态表演叙事的纪录片形式让我一直处于恍惚中，不知道我到底是不是在看纪录片。当镜头与被纪录人的距离如此亲密，叙事几乎全由被纪录人承担，纪录者并不在观众和被纪录人之间构成任何桥梁作用，那么，它和一部艺术片之间，到底还有什么本质区别？btw，本片美术尤其出色，女主人公家内部取景的室内打光俨然被荷兰黄金时代的画家灵魂附体。
