《山区》：村里人都觉得老三（葛优饰）是个吊儿郎当的人。这天老三得到了一部画家（孙周饰）留下的手机，然而贫困落后的村里并不能让他顺利地享用到这个现代工具。他开始为这台手机四处奔忙，命运也随之发生了意想不到的转折。
《山难》：奸商滕少延（邱心志饰）平日品行败坏道德低劣，在山难的生死边缘上，他打电话给自己的亲朋求助，却发现再没有人愿意相信他了，能否逃过死神掌心，对以往的恶行又该如何忏悔，此刻在他心中百感交集。
