ギターを背に風来坊の滝伸次は会津磐梯山の麓に現われた。父越谷大造と遊びに来ていた少年信夫を山道で救った伸次は、ハジキの政に馬を奪われた。野性的な女マキに放火の疑いをかけられた政を伸次は救った。温泉町のキャバレー“オハラ”で流した伸次は、マダムが越谷と一緒にいた女あけみであることを知った。賭場で五十万の穴をあけた政が伸次に挑戦した。イカサマを見破った伸次は、政の銃口があけみに向けられていたのを見た。東京で親分を裏切ったあけみを殺すために来たが、政はあけみに同棲を迫った。二宮牧場主として弟浩と左前の牧場を経営する靖子が東京から帰って来た。マキは父親が焼死したのはホテル建設のため牧場買収を企らむ小芝の仕業だと、靖子に訴えた。小芝はオハラの支配人だった。靖子の話を聞いた伸次は焼死現場に行き、小芝のねらいが牧場でなく温泉であることを知った。小芝は靖子の誕生パーティの夜、牧場を襲った。乱闘になった。政は昔の女マキを誘った。伸次は越谷を責めたが愛児のために金が要るからと、越谷はゆずらなかった。マキは政に復讐するべく家を出た。崖の上では小芝一味が政を待っていた。政を狙うマキに政と一緒に来た殺し屋ジミーの匕首が飛び小芝がマキを捕えた。政はジミーをだまして列車に乗せたところを小芝に撃たれた。小芝はジミーに伸次殺しを託した。マキを渡すという誘いに出て行く伸次の身を靖子は案じた。伸次は政にマキの居所を問いつめ、あけみには越谷と小芝の悪事をばらした。あけみに教えられて地下室に行くと、マキは政の死を聞いて喜び、小芝一味が牧場に行ったと教えた。小芝は靖子をアテにしたが、浩の機転で伸次は勝った。小芝を追って“オハラ”に来ると、あけみが虫の息で越谷の所に行ったと言う。ホテルでは越谷も倒れていた。伸次に信夫を北海道の親戚へ－－と託して死んで行った。小芝と伸次はロープウェイの上で対決した。伸次を狙うジミーは意外な政の一発で倒れた。引きとめる靖子をあとにして、伸次と信夫をのせた馬車は、牧場を去って高原のかなたに消えて行った。

The Trap is simultaneously the darkest and the lightest of the bunch. With its tale of serial killers and mental illness, not to mention some of Hama’s closest friends taking some serious damage, The Trap certainly has the grimmest storyline of the three films. But, on the other hand, it also features a masked villain straight out of low budget serials, a fantastic sequence in which Hama’s mentor – played as always by Jo Shishido – gets to rally the troops, and a little bit of spy gadgetry. The Trap tries to play it both ways and does a surprisingly good job of it. The dark elements ratchet the tension up while the lighter parts keep things hopping along." - Twitch Review

神戸に近いある港町にギター背中に流れて来た伸次は、喧嘩で危い流しのサブを救ったことから親分の秋津にひきあわされた。秋津は自分の娯楽センター拡張のため、親切ごかしに金を貸し利子の期限切れを種に暴力的に土地を立退かせていた。伸次の腕力と嚇しはマーケットの住民をふるえあがらせた。秋津は沖合にある小島にもセンターを作る関係上丸庄漁業に伸次を使にたてた。しかし丸庄の女房澄子が秋津の実妹と知るとこの仕事を断った。会った時から伸次に惹かれていた秋津の娘由紀は叔母のために手を引いた彼に一層の好意を寄せた。ある日神戸の田口組のジョージがヤクの密輸を沖合で取引きするので舟をかりに来た。秋津の用心棒馬場は丸庄のあかつき丸を担保にとりあげた。秋津組とジョージは取引きのため沖合に出た。挨拶がわりのダイス遊びで見せた伸次の手さばきに、ジョージは彼とどこかで会ったような感じを持った。そこで厭がる伸次にむりやり拳銃を弾たせた。“判ったお前は神戸市警のデカだ。昔俺の舎弟を殺してサツを首になった奴だ”二人が拳銃を構えた時巡視艇が廻って来た。決闘は明晩までのばされることになった。その夜丸庄が溺死体となって発見された。サブの口から秋津の仕業と知った伸次は秋津と手を切る決心をした。翌晩再び海に出た。密輸取引きが終り二つの影が向い合った。その瞬間を狙って馬場の拳銃が二人に向って火を吐いた。伸次は海に消えた。ジョージは傷つきながら馬場を倒した。組のことを知り過ぎた伸次を消し密輸を一人占めしようとする秋津のたくらみであった。秋津の事務所へ伸次は飛び込んでいった。が秋津は拳銃を構えて待っていた。しかし何時の間にか裏口よりやってきたジョージに倒された。パトカーのサイレンが近づいた。ビリヤード場で対峙する二人。二人の拳銃が火を噴く。バシッとジョージの拳銃がフッ飛んだ。負けを認めたジョージを沼田刑事が逮捕に来る。別の日、復職を進める沼田に伸次は死んだ女の墓参りに佐渡に向かうと告げる。伸次の旅立ちに由紀たちが見送りに来る。また戻ってくると言って旅立つ伸次だが、由紀はそれが嘘だと判っていた

石原裕次郎がヤクザの大幹部に扮し、許されぬ女と恋に落ちるムード・アクション。共演はこれが裕次郎と初顔合わせとなる桑野みゆき。

メキシコを舞台に、日本からやって来たデザイナーと建築家の愛を描く。脚本は「ロングラン」の小林竜雄、「コータローまかりとおる！」の志村正浩、同作の鈴木則文の共同執筆。監督は鈴木則文、撮影は「生きてみたいもう一度　新宿バス放火事件」の岸本正広がそれぞれ担当。

広島の高校3年生の少年・裕司は夏休み、東京の演劇界に憧れて上京し、六本木にたどり着く。裕司は喫茶店でウエーターとして働きだすが、先輩店員の吉夫は歌手になりたいと憧れながらオーディションに落ち続けていた。吉夫のアパートで居候させてもらいながら、裕司は演劇界で働く夢を諦めそうになるが、ロックミュージシャンとして意外な才能を目覚めさせていく。一方、吉夫は引き続いて歌手として芽を出す機会に恵まれずに……。
