本作为鲁邦三世第二部TV系列，放送于1977年10月3日-1980年10月6日，共计155话，片中鲁邦身着红色外套。这一TV系列的放送，以及期间78年、79年两部剧场版，真正把鲁邦推上了日本国民动画的宝座。

Ten Years ago, Genichiro Izayoi died trying to stop the sorcerer Rebi Ra, and as a result Shinjuku became a playground for demons. And now, the day approaches when Rebi Ra will complete his decade-long ritual to plunge the rest of the world into chaos! As Genichiro's son, it falls to Kyoya to venture into the heart of Shinjuku and put an end to the sorcerer his father couldn't beat. Can Kyoya exceed his father's legacy, or will the demons of Shinjuku create Hell on Earth?

Enter the tale of the Crusher Council, a group of rugged individuals known for assignments ranging from transportation to terraforming and everything in between. In the early days of space exploration the Crushers took on the job of destroying asteroids and defining space lanes. Because of their work, they were nicknamed "Crushers" which eventually became their business moniker. Despite the rough and ready nature of the Crushers' work, they subscribe to a few steadfast rules. Unethical and illegal assignments are taboo, and any Crusher accepting one is barred from the Union. Of course, this presents problems for shady clients who try to trick the Crushers into accepting misleading assignments. They know that once the Union accepts a case the Crushers are honor-bound to follow it through. Among the various worlds, the Crusher Council has a stunning reputation, and among the Crushers, the most elite team is the one led by Crusher Dan and his successor, Crusher Joe.

时光流转，当年的少男少女们长大成人，在爱情的护佑下朝着各自的理想而努力。浅仓南（日高のり子 配音）毅然放弃已取得无数辉煌和成就的艺术体操，转而追随摄影师藤村刚但当一名摄影助理；上杉达也（三ツ矢雄二 配音）则受邀赴美，成为垫底球队翡翠队的一名选手。在20世纪50年代，翡翠队曾经名噪一时，如今却成为人人得而虐之烂队。球队老板心怀理想，投入全部家产经营球队。而达也等人的到来也似乎为该队注入全新的活力。在这期间，老板的女儿艾丽丝也开始对达也萌生好感……
本片根据漫画家安达充的同名原作改编，为该系列动画的第二部原创TV SP。

Notorious thief Lupin the Third aims to steal the lost treasure of the Romanov royal family with his criminal associates along for the ride. 故事发生在遥远未来的浩瀚宇宙中，银河帝国与从帝国中分裂开来的自由行星同盟是存在于其中的两大势力，他们相互为敌，之间不断发生着残酷的战争。联结着帝国和同盟的，是两条著名的回廊——“费杀回廊”和“伊谢尔伦回廊”，而在费沙回廊中，存在这一个特殊的国家——“费沙自治领”，这个看似弱小的国家以它的方式在动荡的局势中独善其身，成为了不可小觑的又一股势力。
长久以来，在三股势力之间维持着微妙的平衡，而帝国的莱因哈特·冯·罗严克拉姆（堀川亮 配音）与同盟的杨威利（富山敬 配音）的出现预示着平衡的终结，历史的车轮就此开始转动。

1614年，德川家康73岁，年迈的他为了第三代将军继承人人选的问题而烦恼。难以决断的德川家康将决定的权利交给当时势均力敌的两大忍术宗家，它们分别是甲贺流和伊贺流。在前人服部半藏的调解下，曾经水火不容的两家签下了“不战条约”，但在权利和政治的挑拨之下，条约被撕毁了 。
两家各派出十名忍者，他们要相互残杀直至仅剩一方幸存，而幸存方所支持的对象即可成为下一代将军。其中，甲贺流的头领甲贺玄之介（鸟海浩辅 配音）与伊贺流的头领胧（水树奈奈 配音）在战前曾经是两情相悦的恋人，与此同时，甲贺流与伊贺流的一些成员之间也有着复杂的感情纠葛。但是此时此刻，仿佛被丝线牵引的人偶，他们必须摒弃所有的感情，展开一场血腥残酷的厮杀。

同作は、「ルパン三世」の原作誕生50周年を締めくくる記念作品。「ルパン三世 PART5」ブルーレイ＆DVD第1巻の先着購入特典として、約27分の映像がDVDに収録される。キャラクターデザインを「ルパン三世 PART5」の横堀久雄と、長年「ルパン」シリーズに関わってきたアニメーターの平山智、監督を「サイボーグ009VSデビルマン」の川越惇が担当し、メインキャストは栗田貫一ら、「ルパン三世 PART5」と同じメンバーが担当する。
公開されたオープニングは、ルパンが往年のライバルたちと迫力のカーチェイスを繰り広げるところからはじまる。また本編では、過去のシリーズでルパンと対決した摩毛狂介、百地三太夫、パイカル、ストーンマンらが登場し、第1シリーズの第1話「ルパンは燃えているか……?!」で敵の首領・ミスターXに捕われた峰不二子が完全再現されるという。川越惇監督からは、「コメディあり、お色気あり、カーチェイスあり、懐かしいキャラが総登場のお祭り企画！　いろんなルパンが好きな方がいると思いますので、どの世代の方でも楽しめるように仕掛けをつくってます」とのコメントが寄せられている。

描写的是从宇宙历七九五年、帝国历四八六年十月的第三次迪亚马特会战到宇宙历七九六年、帝国历四八七年二月的亚斯提会战之间的情节。帝国军的年轻上将莱因哈特和同盟军的不败英雄杨威利在片中初次显示了他们的实力。它的配乐采用了交响乐来衬托其气势，舰队对战时声势甚为浩大。
片中还穿插了杨、拉普和洁西卡的三角关系。除此以外，基本上是正传的1、2集的重复与补充。

Noah's Ark—the latest in VR technology and a milestone of human innovation—is set for a showcase to Japan's privileged children. They have the honour of beginning a new revolution in gaming; however, their carefree fun is cut short when a company employee is found murdered, with his dying message pointing to a clue hidden within the Ark. Along with the Detective Boys and Ran Mouri, Conan Edogawa enters Noah's Ark to solve this mystery and ensure the perpetrator is caught. Nobita, after wondering if Heaven truly exists, asks for Doraemon to take him there. When his robot pal suggests that they make their own Heaven, Nobita enlists Shizuka, Gian, and Suneo to help, but a war breaks out between two islands in the clouds that could have terrible environmental consequences if Nobita and Doraemon don't bring peace in time!
