Princess Farah refuses to marry Sinbad until Prince Kassim, her brother, is able to give his consent. However, the Prince's wicked stepmother, Queen Zenobia, has changed Kassim into a baboon in order to have her own son crowned as caliph. Sinbad, his crew, the Princess and the transformed Prince travel to a distant land, fighting every obstacle Zenobia places in their path, to seek the advice of a legendary wise man who can possibly tell how to end the spell.

After a disastrous first date, wild-child Nicole and socially-anxious Max vow to lose each other’s numbers until they learn that their dogs found a love match, and now puppies are on the way! The hilariously mismatched Nicole and Max are forced to become responsible co-parents, but may end up finding love themselves.

In 1830's England, young medical student Victor Frankenstein (Leonard Whiting), following the drowning death of his beloved brother, bitterly renounces God and vows to find the secret to creating life himself. He crosses paths with the eccentric Dr. Henry Clerval (David McCallum) who shares his quest and takes the younger Victor under his wing. When experiments in reanimating insects and a severed human arm succeed, the two prepare to bring to life a man whom they have assembled from body parts of victims of a mining accident. On the eve of their attempt, Henry discovers that the process will reverse itself and dies from heart failure before he can sufficiently warn Victor. Committed to carrying on his late friend's work, Victor forges ahead and brings to life a creature of incredible beauty and innocence (Michael Sarrazin). The two develop a close, affectionate relationship and Victor looks forward to presenting his creation to society as "the new Adam." Inevitably, the flaw in Clerval's procedure results in the grotesque distortion of the Creature's appearance, causing Victor to callously reject him. The Creature attempts suicide but to his dismay finds he can't be killed. He leaps from the White Cliffs of Dover, and Victor assumes he's seen the last of his bungled handiwork.
The Creature, still very much alive, wanders the countryside and befriends an old blind man (Sir Ralph Richardson). He also develops an infatuation with his daughter Agatha (Jane Seymour) whom he observes in secret. In a tragic accident Agatha is killed, and the Creature brings her to his birthplace, seeking Victor's aid. Instead, he finds the lab has been taken over by Dr. Polidori (James Mason), a former colleague of Henry's.
Victor meanwhile has moved on, returning his attention to his fiancee Elizabeth (Nicola Pagett) and attempting to live a normal life. His plan is thwarted by Polidori, who uses the Creature to forcibly enlist Victor's help in bringing yet another body to life, this time female. The result is Prima (also Jane Seymour), a stunning beauty with an evil, cold heart. Finding no further use for Victor's creature, Polidori locks him in his laboratory and sets it ablaze, while Victor stands by helplessly.
Polidori grooms Prima and schemes to use her to gain entree into the cream of society and seats of political power. Prima's coming-out party is memorably cut short by the arrival of the uninvited Creature. Events come to a head when she viciously attacks him, inciting his jealousy and murderous rage.
Their life in a shambles, Victor and Elizabeth charter a boat to escape to America, unknowingly accompanied by both Polidori and the Creature. After a storm and much violence only Victor and his Creature are left on the ship. Wishing to escape humanity, the Creature steers the ship toward the North Pole. Victor and the Creature confront each other for a final time in the Arctic wasteland.

Since the original run, Shaffer has extensively revised his play, including changes to plot details; the following is common to all revisions.

At the opening of the tale, Salieri is an old man, having long outlived his fame, and is convinced he used poison to assassinate Mozart. Speaking directly to the audience, he promises to explain himself. The action then flashes back to the eighteenth century, at a time when Salieri has not met Mozart in person, but has heard of him and his music. He adores Mozart's compositions, and is thrilled at the chance to meet Mozart in person, during a salon at which some of Mozart's compositions will be played. When he finally does catch sight of Mozart, however, he is deeply disappointed to find that Mozart's personality does not match the grace or charm of his compositions. When Salieri first meets him, Mozart is crawling around on his hands and knees, engaging in profane talk with his future bride Constanze Weber .

Salieri cannot reconcile Mozart's boorish behaviour with the genius that God has inexplicably bestowed upon him. Indeed, Salieri, who has been a devout Catholic all his life, cannot believe that God would choose Mozart over him for such a gift. Salieri renounces God and vows to do everything in his power to destroy Mozart as a way of getting back at his Creator.

Throughout much of the rest of the play, Salieri masquerades as Mozart's ally to his face while doing his utmost to destroy his reputation and any success his compositions may have. On more than one occasion it is only the direct intervention of the Emperor himself that allows Mozart to continue (interventions which Salieri opposes, and then is all too happy to take credit for when Mozart assumes it was he who intervened). Salieri also humiliates Mozart's wife when she comes to Salieri for aid, and smears Mozart's character with the Emperor and the court. A major theme in Amadeus is Mozart's repeated attempts to win over the aristocratic "public" with increasingly brilliant compositions, which are always frustrated either by Salieri or by the aristocracy's own inability to appreciate Mozart's genius.

The play ends with Salieri attempting suicide in a last attempt to be remembered, leaving a false confession of having murdered Mozart with arsenic . He survives, however, and his confession is disbelieved by all, leaving him to wallow once again in mediocrity.

Mary Yellan (Jane Seymour) lives in the English village of Halston at the time of King George IV, and is the daughter of seaman James (Pavel Douglas) who is killed when `wreckers' trick the ship he is on into crashing onto rocks, stealing cargo and murdering the inhabitants. After Mary's mother Martha (Vivian Pickles) goes mad, Mary travels to live with her Aunt Patience (Billie Whitelaw) and be a maid for her Uncle Joss Merlyn (Patrick McGoohan), the landlord of Jamaica Inn, located on the moors of Cornwall. Mary's antipathy towards the drunken bully Joss is heightened when she learns he is the name leader of the wreckers, though she falls in love with his brother Jeremiah 'Jem' (Trevor Eve). Joss plans to leave Cornwall when public favour and the authorities turn against him, however he and Patience are thwarted by Vicar Francis Davey (John McEnery), who takes Mary with him to a Druid place of worship clifftop. Will Jem rescue Mary in time?
In spite of Seymour's beauty, represented by her long hair and hooded cape costume and best observed when she listens, she works against her romantic look to make Mary anti-romantic, rebellious and afraid to let herself love Jem. It also helps that every other man who has designs on her is repulsive, and even the Vicar sends mixed sexual signals in a scene of them in a carriage together where he tells her to undress out of her wet clothes. Seymour uses the region accent and gives Mary harsh yells, tears at her father's funeral and in a close-up before she blows out a candle, a duplicitous smile to conceal Jem's illegal behavior, twitches her left eye when Jem kisses her for the first time, scratches the face and hits peddlar Harry (Michael Goldie) with a rock when he tries to rape her, trying to stab Joss, and her bloodied hands shake after finding someone dead. We see Mary often with her hair wet from the rain or strands of it covering her face, reflected in well water, sweeping, riding a cart, slapped and having her arm twisted behind her back by Joss. Seymour makes some of her lines funny - `This is suitable housiery for the likes of you', `You call these your friends?!', and `Why should I lie to you?'.
The teleplay by Derek Marlowe, based on the novel by Daphne du Maurier, runs for 3 hours, though Marlowe is fortunate that du Maurier's narrative builds suspense as it continues. When Jems tells Mary that `she could be very pretty' it is laughable considering the way Seymour looks, but Joss gets a funny line to her in `Did you imagine all of God's creatures smelled like a nosegay?'.
Director Lawrence Gordon Clark provides lightning for Martha's death scene and lingers tediously on the drooling Joss in a drunken confession to Mary, but cross-cuts effectively between Mary with the Vicar and Jem and then bloodhounds in pursuit.

In this comic take on big-business wheelings and dealings, an ambitious senator's son moves up the corporate ladder through undeserved promotions. But against his better judgment, he falls for a woman (the chairman's daughter, no less) who's leading a protest against the company's shady business practices.

Sandor Korvin (Schell), the conductor of the Budapest Opera House tutors his wife Elena (Seymour in a duel role) as Marguerite in FAUST. She drowns herself after a bad review rigged by the sinister Baron Hunyadi (Kemp), whose affections she spurned. When confronting Kraus, the critic (Stone), Korvin gets into a fight and a fire is started. Korvin kills the critic, only to have his face burned beyond recognition with acid that falls from a shelf above. He is saved from the infeno by a rat catcher, who takes him to a lair underneath the opera. Five years later, he becomes The Phantom of the Opera, a masked figure who causes havoc among the cast. Korvin spots Maria Gianelli (Seymour), a chorus girl who bears a remarkable resemblence to his dead wife. He tutors her by day, while Maria's love interest, however, is with Hartnell (York), who has taken over as director of FAUST. Korvin then executes his plan to exact revenge on the Baron and terrorize those who stand in the way of Maria's triumph. Written by J. Theakston
