I decided to update my profile slightly, in light of recent events in the USA. I am now a registered Antifa Terrorist (USA Only), and a proud Anti-Fascist, just like several generations of my family before me, and those after.
The Fascist regime in the USA needn't expect me to visit their occupied country any time soon anyway. The rest of the world beckons, and has much to offer.

Musk recently threatened to sue U.S. Representative Ro Khanna for pointing out that Musk is a racist mass murder—which he absolutely is. Today in Labor History April 26, 1937: The Nazis and Italian fascists bombed Guernica, a town in the Basque region of Spain, at the request of Spanish fascist leader, Francisco Franco. Later that year, Picasso painted his famous painting, Guernica, in protest of the atrocity. This was during the Spanish Civil War. The Republicans, a coalition of anarchist, socialist and communist partisans, were fighting the fascists, led by Franco. They bombed Guernica for two hours, killing between 1,000 and 3,000 civilians, or 20-60% of the population.
Some of the most unforgettable images from the Guernica painting include dismembered bodies, a weeping woman, and a dead baby, images that we’ve seen repeated so often in the current Israeli genocide on Palestine. In December 2023, not long after the Genocide in Gaza began, the people of Guernica, dressed in red, black, white and green, formed a human mosaic of the Palestinian flag incorporated into an image from Picasso’s Guernica, while sirens blared in the background. If you go to almost any town in the Basque Country today, you’ll see lots of Palestinian flags hanging from apartment windows, in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

I finished the Black Rose 2023 Program a few days ago and have moved on to Social Anarchism and Organization which I'm reading in conjunction with Anarchist Popular Power by Troy Andreas Araiza Kokinis. Recommended for anyone interested in learning more about Especifismo which is a model for anarchist organization developed from a collective process of theory and practice.
If you want a group experience check out the Center for Especifismo Studies. They run an 15-week introductory seminar, the Militant Kindergarten, every year starting in January.

Election wins prove pro-Palestine US campus protests didn’t fail: Activists
"In New York, Darializa Avila Chevalier, an activist who participated in the pro-Palestine protests at Columbia University, won a Democratic congressional primary against a five-term incumbent.
Avila Chevalier’s win was one of several victories for pro-Palestine candidates in New York last week.
Last year, Zohran Mamdani was elected mayor of New York City, in part thanks to the efforts of young pro-Palestine activists who powered his campaign.
In Colorado on Tuesday, Melat Kiros, who was fired from her law firm in 2023 for a letter defending Palestinian rights supporters from accusations of anti-Semitism, ousted a House member who had been in Congress for nearly 30 years.
Candidates backed by supporters of Palestinian rights also won key races in Pennsylvania and New Jersey."
