A collage created from the paper that once wrapped the filters of cigarettes. The cigarette butts were collected from street sweepers in the artist's hometown of San Juan, Puerto Rico, which he then removed the paper from and it glued onto a long, rectangular canvas. The effect is a carpet of white and tan, with some red here and there (from the lipstick worn by the smokers).
