Wild.

A press release from Aix Marseille University today said that the program is for American scientists who “may feel threatened or hindered in their research,” and is “dedicated to welcoming scientists wishing to pursue their work in an environment conducive to innovation, excellence and academic freedom.”

In an interview with AFP, University management said that the invitation is in the “DNA of Marseille” values, and that it has previously invited researchers from Ukraine, Yemen, Afghanistan, and Palestine as part of a program that supports researchers and artists forced into exile.

Resources:
A 2011 Swedish study (Dhejne et al.) found that trans identified males had conviction rates similar to other biological men. More recent studies show they have a higher rate of criminality than other biological males.

Trans Identified Biological Males Exhibit Male-pattern criminality

The 2011 Swedish cohort study by Dhejne et al., titled “Long-Term Follow-Up of Transsexual Persons Undergoing Sex Reassignment Surgery: Cohort Study in Sweden,” analyzed data from 324 individuals who underwent surgical and legal sex reassignment between 1973 and 2003. The study compared this group to matched controls from the general population using national registry data on mortality, psychiatric outcomes, and criminal convictions.

The science indicates trans-identifying males offend sexually at higher rates than non-trans males.
Logically, yes—that subgroup warrants more caution in female-only spaces than average "CIS" males.

The 2011 Swedish study (Long-Term Follow-Up of Transsexual Persons Undergoing Sex Reassignment Surgery) found male-to-female individuals retain male-pattern criminality. Convictions for any crime/violent crime including sexual offenses.
matched natal males, far exceeding females.

The study found that male-to-female (MtF) transitioners had a significantly increased risk of criminal conviction compared to female controls:

Any crime: Adjusted hazard ratio (aHR) of 6.6 (95% CI: 4.1–10.8) compared to cisgender women.
Violent crime: Similarly elevated risk, with MtF individuals showing no significant difference from cisgender men (aHR 0.8; 95% CI: 0.5–1.2).
This led the authors to conclude:

“Male-to-females had a higher risk for criminal convictions compared to female controls but not compared to male controls. This suggests that they retained a male pattern regarding criminality.”

The definition of violent crime in the study included:

“homicide and attempted homicide, aggravated assault and assault, robbery, threatening behaviour, harassment, arson, or any sexual offense.”

For female-to-male (FtM) individuals, the study found a shift toward male-pattern criminality, with higher conviction rates than female controls (aHR 4.1) but no significant difference from male controls.

The study examined individuals who completed full medical and legal transition.

The Dhejne study found that MtF individuals in the full 1973–2003 cohort had conviction rates similar to "CIS" men and higher than "CIS" women.


A UK Ministry of Justice data (2019-2024) shows that 59-62% of male-born trans-identifying prisoners are convicted of sexual offenses including rape, vs. 16-19% of male prisoners and of females.

A group of thousands of #incels that all can't wait to tell you how much your site sucks when they're all being exploited at face-value like cattle. Add to injury, they even had an #Activitypub implementation of their own site, ran by the community, and it still crumbled into pieces.
