Was bräuchte ich dafür?

Here is a preview design for a (business) card promoting the Fediverse (made in Inkscape).
I plagiarized the idea from @juergen_hubert who has created card templates people can print and give out at protests.
Instead, i'm doing fully designed cards for more generic use. Lending my graphic design skills to the community. I will put these out as print ready files under a (non-commercial) Creative Commons license - so anyone can get a stack cheaply printed themselves to give out places or leave in coffee shops etc.
If there is interest, I will do a bunch of different designs, different languages, and a US size (I'm designing to EU standards). Plus maybe some stickers and posters too?
This particular design is my trademark 'busy with movement' style. I've based the design on the colours and shapes from the official Fediverse logo.

Fediverse: anyone know of any web-based tools that help you automatically create a thread for mastodon, including image upload and alt text? I just tried splinter which looks rad, but image upload appears to be broken (Windows 11, tried Firefox and Chrome). I guess a downloadable for Windows would be OK too. #fedihelp

I'm Ariel Becker, a disabled 44 yo Argentinian with two cats in charge and almost zero income.

I tried migrating from redis to valkey but failed with a version mismatch of used RDB. I’m using a rather recent redis version. Any suggestions on how to copy key/value pairs over? Is there tooling to copy the database over? Any help is appreciated!

I'm about to finish a small gig. After that, I want to start coding the long awaited comments module for my blog engine Yottablog.
The module will allow to post comments via ActivityPub. It means you will be able to comment on any post from Mastodon, Pleroma, Akkoma, Pixelfed, and whatever ActivityPub-enabled app you like.
In addition to that, I want to integrate OpenGraph into posts, so it will display a nice card on major social networks.
Oh: and I want to finish the integration with Gemini capsules (the protocol, not the Google crap). Once it's fully finished, it will allow to seamlessly duplicate the blog into a Gemini capsule.
I set the goal in $500. This is the amount of money I need to survive until March 15th. Keep in mind I'm disabled (terminal-stage kidney disease, on hemodyalisis).
