Recorded (around this time) and released 40 years ago, "New York Performances" may be the only Borbetomagus LP that hasn't been reissued on CD? I remember reading that it's probably because it isn't that good. But it's better than I remember, especially the A side. Did I hear some Albert Ayler? The B side is rather badly recorded (or rather, not bad in a good way). And it has some nice photos of the band!
