We’ve returned to the sunny part of our repeating cycle, having just left the cloudy portion, which will return.

The days are mild with sun, cool with clouds, the nights comfortable regardless. It’s the perfect time of year here, actually.

This is my favorite time of year to focus on the forest floor, rather than in the trees.

That’s where stuff is happening, including color changes.

Not that I’m an expert. More like the opposite. Oh, but curiosity…
