#art #history: my fave story about marilyn monroe is how she used to pay for pigeons' freedom rather than see them gathered up from a NYC park to be killed & served in the city's restaurants.
on the 100th anniversary of her birth, i've given norma jean an eternal bird friend who surely recognises the depths & dimensions of MM's personality that most people ignored whilst she was alive.

Creepy number two! This is really intense and the composition and lighting are terrific. I could wish for the central guy's eyes not to be terrifying though, because whose side am I on? He's almost as scary as the beasts.
