#BREAKING | 🇬🇧 — UK High Court Rules Ban on 'Palestine Action' as Terrorist Group Unlawful
The UK High Court has ruled that the government's decision to proscribe pro-Palestinian campaign group Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation was unlawful and disproportionate, citing breaches of rights to freedom of expression and assembly.
Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood expressed disappointment and confirmed the government will appeal the judgment.
The ban remains in force pending a further hearing on February 20, meaning membership or support for the group continues to be a criminal offence for now.
In May 2025, 'activists' broke into RAF Brize Norton and damaged two military aircraft with spray paint, causing around £7 million in damage.
