<p>Yesterday my VPS set off a warning, as it was hit by a huge spike in incoming traffic, peaking at 55GB at 2:15pm and lasting for an hour.</p><p>Upon investigating, it turns out it was my PeerTube instance that was targeted. </p><p>Where did the traffic come from? </p><p>meta-externalagent (aka Meta's web crawler which is used to grab content to train its AI system). </p><p>I feel a little bit violated thinking my Fediverse promo video was grabbed by it, sigh.</p><p><a href="/tags/aicritic/" rel="tag">#AIcritic</a> <a href="/tags/noai/" rel="tag">#NoAI</a></p>
<p>finished watching <a href="https://neodb.social/search?r=1&q=https://neodb.social/movie/7Es1zzo2AR4nMypOEWbAjr" rel="nofollow">Going Nuts</a> <br>Fantastic. Even if it weren't made with peanuts (which it entirely is, both literally for the characters and figuratively for the budget) it would still be a perfectly entertaining, creepy nightmare of a movie. Think Guillermo del Toro, Terry Gilliam, Kafka and young Tim Burton had a baby and no money to raise it properly, but they did their best with as little as they had. Also the baby was a peanut.</p><p>Don't be misguided by the terrible English title, this isn't a family oriented comedy, the original title translates something like Screams in the Corridor.</p><p>Keep in mind, this is not the best take on mental health, but that wasn't the point here, the point was kafkaesque horror with some dark humor, using every Insane Asylum from Hell cliche on purpose.</p><p><a href="/tags/movies/" rel="tag">#movies</a> <a href="/tags/horror/" rel="tag">#horror</a> <a href="/tags/noai/" rel="tag">#noAI</a></p><p><a href="/tags/ersneodb/" rel="tag">#ERSneodb</a></p>
