Habe mir eine Fujifilm Instax Kamera gekauft. Gestern habe ich einen kurzen Spaziergang gemacht um sie zu testen. Sie gefällt mir sehr gut. Sie macht Spaß und die Bilder sehen großartig aus, wenn einem die LoFi Fotografie gefällt.

Eine monochrome Sofortbildfotografie. Das Bild ist horizontal in zwei Hälften geteilt. In der oberen Hälfte sieht man einen Treppengang der runter in eine Unterführung führt und in der unteren Hälfte sieht man denselben Treppengang, der nach oben, aus der Unterführung heraus führt. Das Bild hat einen weißen Rahmen.

An old wooden door is mostly covered with plates of metal. It covers an opening in a brick wall, but can be rolled to the left along a pipe hung on the wall.

A garage door set into a concrete building at loading dock height. Below the door is a metal access panel with a vent in the middle of it.

An entrance to an old brick building with boarded up windows. There is a flat metal awning over the entrance supported by two rods tied into the side of the building. The entrance opens onto a steep sidewalk in front of the building.

Brass and red velvet. It looks a little steampunk, or something from the Time Machine. It's a telescope, about the size of a small cannon, fixed between two concrete piers, in a small plush room, with the plush velvet armchair providing a comfy perch. Look closer. There is a track for the comfy chair, so it can always be in position. Also, the back can flip to the other side. The astronomer will always have a nice spot to sit. The telescope can only move up and down (and around) not left and right: it is for determining time.

Less comfortable for the astonomer, the phone line, not quite visible. Anyone in the country could call it, at any time, and get the current accurate time.

Immature pied-billed grebe

Years ago I got this photo of an immature pied billed grebe in Miner's Marsh in Kentville, not far from us, and after seeing the lovely photos of grebes that Jim just posted today, I was inspired to dig this one out. Thanks for the encouragement, Jim.

Slowly appearing through the hazy horizon.
Managed to catch a BA A320 10 miles away on the approach to Belfast City airport on the 4th frame. Not 'great' but I was keen LOL
