Much better than average (for me) collection of street photography from early this year. I like these at a set that all kind of have their own energy or feeling to them. I don't know why but success always relates to the day more than to individual pictures. I think it is just whether my brain is actually working and energetic. For instance I did the same walk today and all garbage complete garbage :-p

Woman with colourful jacket and cat crawling on her shoulder.

Some kind of faux motorcycle bicycle. Person close in foreground with blue coat partially blocking.

Four men walk towards camera in nice suits. Long shadows.

To the dark tower

#photography #morning #fog #street #traffic #cars #smalltown

Photo of a roundabout in the early morning, showing oncoming cars and a bus with their headlights blazing. The blue-tinged sky is overcast and the trees farther away shrouded in fog. The fog becomes increasingly dense higher up, partly obscuring a distant church spire which seems to disappear into the clouds.

#Mannen #Mexico #EdvanderElsken #fotografie #photography #EdVanDerElsken #EdvanderElsken

http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/collection/RP-F-2019-298-9-89

The image is a black and white photograph capturing two individuals wearing elaborate headdresses adorned with reflective elements, possibly sequins or beads. These headpieces suggest cultural significance, likely for ceremonial purposes such as traditional dances or festivals. The background features natural foliage, which could indicate an outdoor setting during the daytime. There's visible contrast between light and dark tones in the image due to its monochrome nature.
