Fall means a change in light, and every year I have a hard time getting used to it being dark when I go out in the morning and dark when Watson and I go for our evening walk. Darkness in the summer is a choice, fun, but in the fall it becomes inevitable.

I cannot remember what species of orchid this is, but I can tell you that it was a challenge to take any kind of picture of it considering the orchid has flowers about as large as a grain of sand
