无厘头是本剧的看点，动作表演及其神经质。6位剧中配角，两个是男性分别扮演女主老公和女主的男朋友。两个是女性扮演好朋友及同事。还有两个常任女主的父母的老人，本剧较重口味，未成年人不建议观看，但是并无露点等不和谐内容出现剧中。

在今年艾美奖上，JuliannaMargulies到手的「最佳情节剧女主角奖」被半路杀出的KyraSedgwick抢走，真是令人始料未及。不过，JuliannaMargulies自称并不看重荣誉。在上季结尾，Peter高调重返政坛，而Alicia在最后关头接到了Will打来的「求爱」电话。与此同时，新公司的命运令人担忧－－与另一家公司合并后，Will和Alicia的前途很可能大受冲击。吝啬的CBS在描述新季首集时只用了一句话：与Will的感情和与Peter的婚姻让Alicia左右为难，Alicia必须做一个决断。
