<p>Museum of Man</p><p>I went down to Balboa Park and found a photographers Paradise. The Golden Gate

Before you rises the Golden Gate Bridge, its deep orange towers glowing warmly against a crisp, cloudless blue sky. Sunlight glints off the steel cables, creating thin, shimmering lines that vibrate in the wind.

Below, the bay churns with whitecaps—small, sharp bursts of foam that crackle like torn paper as the wind whips across the water. A ship glides beneath the bridge, its dark hull cutting a smooth path through the restless blue. The air smells of salt and cold metal, and the wind carries a low, distant hum from the bridge’s traffic.

The entire scene feels both vast and intimate: the monumental sweep of the bridge contrasted with the delicate sparkle of winter light. It’s a moment suspended between stillness and motion, warmth and chill, human engineering and the raw energy of the Pacific.

From the backlog from last October: I did the Old City Hall station tour. The tour is only open to members of the NY Transit Museum. <p>Me han regalado el primer volumen recopilatorio de Les Cités Obscures, de Schuiten & Peeters. Tengo que empapármela, pero parece una delicia para los que nos gustan los comics y la arquitectura.
