<p>The Golden Gate</p><p>The Golden Gate. The name was given to this stretch of water before the bridge was built or gold was discovered in California. From the backlog from last October: I did the Old City Hall station tour. The tour is only open to members of the NY Transit Museum. But the free way to see it is to take the 6 train and stay on the train past Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station; there the train will go through the Old City Hall station in a loop to turn around. <a href="/tags/nyc/" rel="tag">#nyc</a> <a href="/tags/subway/" rel="tag">#subway</a> <a href="/tags/trains/" rel="tag">#trains</a> <a href="/tags/trainstation/" rel="tag">#trainstation</a> <a href="/tags/architecture/" rel="tag">#architecture</a> <a href="/tags/photography/" rel="tag">#photography</a> <a href="/tags/darktable/" rel="tag">#darktable</a> <a href="/tags/railfan/" rel="tag">#railfan</a>

<p>🆕 🏛️ 🇩🇪 New location: Mausoleum K, Germany.</p><p>Mausoleum K is a grand family tomb that serves as the final resting place for a wealthy German family. </p><p>It's an example of late neoclassical funerary architecture, designed as a rotunda. </p><p>This undercroft holds the coffins, heavy wooden caskets with metal fittings and carved verses.</p><p>Full write-up and gallery live on my website 👇<br><a href="https://www.obsidianurbexphotography.com/other/mausoleum-k-germany/" rel="nofollow" class="ellipsis" title="www.obsidianurbexphotography.com/other/mausoleum-k-germany/"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">www.obsidianurbexphotography.c</span><span class="invisible">om/other/mausoleum-k-germany/</span></a></p><p><a href="/tags/germany/" rel="tag">#Germany</a> <a href="/tags/darktourism/" rel="tag">#DarkTourism</a> <a href="/tags/architecture/" rel="tag">#Architecture</a> <a href="/tags/photography/" rel="tag">#Photography</a></p>

<a href="/tags/comic/" rel="tag">#comic</a> <a href="/tags/bd/" rel="tag">#bd</a> <a href="/tags/arquitectura/" rel="tag">#arquitectura</a> <a href="/tags/architecture/" rel="tag">#architecture</a></p>
