Black and white photograph of the top section of a symmetrical white stucco building, showing its staircase shape roof typical of this art deco style, with a brick chimney and three antennas on the four corners. On the floor level, the main entrance is partly visible, with three double doors and the words "Piscine de l'exposition" written above in capital letters. On the left side, cedar trees are hiding the building. On the right side of the entrance, the wall is pierced by a tall vertical window in three sections, the frosted glass having art deco square motifs in it.

French Art Deco table lampdesign known as "Équilibré" (or The Balanced Cat). It was designed by Eugène Gaillard and manufactured by Max Le Verrier, circa 1920s.

Industrial #ArtDeco, at its finest! This abandoned powerplant plant control room in Hungary was powered down decades ago.

The oval room is lit by an immense skylight, which casts dramatic light across the original green metal control panels. These walls remain lined with levers, valves, and dials.

Without a doubt, one of my favourite adventures. I have visited three times now!
