Often a big bottleneck for progress in #OpenSource projects isn't getting contributions so much as it's getting _reviewers_ for those contribs.

anyone have any suggestions on restoring a pixel 7 usb-c charge port? I have it charging again but it isn't currently transferring data. I took a rounded bamboo toothpick and cleaned out the lint. Does anyone have any experiencing soldering a new one in or any other suggestions?

I'm going to be doing a series on the 1001 Other Albums blog tentatively called "Four Facts Fall" where in each post 3 said facts will focus on the album being spotlit but 1 will be a random music fact that I'll try somehow to make relevant, sorta like Airplane Facts with Max.

I'm familiar with managing Mastodon and GoToSocial, but am not particularly happy with Mastodon and feel GoToSocial may be a bit complicated for general users as there is no default front end (I still love you GTS)

I have a friend who's been trying to get on Mastodon but tells me that it doesn't seem to play well with screen readers. I know there are plenty of people on the fedi who do use screen readers, but I have no experience with them myself, so I can't really direct him.
Can someone who does use a #ScreenReader point me in the direction of some resources that might be useful?
