This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a young Asian man sitting on a pavement, legs crossed, beer can in one hand and talking in a mobile phone held in the other hand. Little India, Singapore (2015).

Extending away from the lower left corner upwards and diagonally through the centre and up to the top of the photo is the pavement. Three large flower pots filled with lush tropical plants line the pavement between the lower left corner and the centre of the image. In the centre of the photo and sitting on the pavement next to the last flower pot is our young Asian (Indian) man. The camera is located a metre above the quiet road: in the road, a metre from the pavement and angled towards the man. The first two flower pots are gently blurred out of focus as is anything beyond our man. He is sitting crossed legged at the front edge of the pavement with his feet and knees overhanging the road, the rest of his body obscured behind the flower pot. He is leaning forwards with his head just in front of the plants. He has dark, slightly curly hair, is wearing a long sleeved dark shirt and dark shorts. His feet are bare with his sandals placed neatly together on the road. In his right hand is the beer can and in his left the mobile phone, held up to his left ear. The quiet street stretches from the centre of the image to the right edge. The road's top surface is peeling away from the underneath.
