<p>I left mainstream social media today and love Mastodon already. Feels like the cool-kid hangout.</p><p>I write, make art and sometimes play music but almost always listen to it. Loving Camus rn. Here's a fav few lines, if I had to choose:</p><p>Our task as [humans] is to find the few principles that will calm the infinite anguish of free souls. We must mend what has been torn apart, make justice imaginable again in a world so obviously unjust, give happiness a meaning once more to peoples poisoned by the misery of the century. It's goth erasure, I'm tellin' ya! 🦇 </p><p>I write blog-like toots on Wednesdays (of course) under the hashtag <a href="/tags/raineywednesday/" rel="tag">#raineyWednesday</a> and tag @weirdfolks </p><p>I do my best to write good <a href="/tags/alttext/" rel="tag">#AltText</a> for my images. Even when I have low spoons, I strive for a bare minimum of "acceptable". I have similar standards for what I will boost. If there is no alt-text or it is insufficient, I will either leave it or I will "steal" the image to post myself with better alt-text. This applies to all of my accounts, of course.</p><p>I come to Mastodon for virtual human interaction and fun times, and while it's nice to take a break from politics and the news, please don't mistake that for me being so-called "apolitical". I am quite progressive-left and often wonder how it came to be that I had to trade in the label of "liberal" for that. Perhaps a combination of I moved forward a little bit and they moved backwards a lot? But that's enough of that topic. This is just background info, not my desired focus.</p>

Think of encapsulated light.. my “skin” is a bright green but transparent and my insides are a lovely neon teal. I have a central core of sunlight color inside me. I appear to be about 27 human years old. I am curvy and voluptuous. I have short hair filaments in a pixie cut that glow neon white. I use a goo glamour to make it look like I wear spectacles… They are really high tech optical translation servers. I am the part of the system that is well adapted to technical skills.
