So I suppose a new #introduction is in order. Hello! New #software engineer at #Google (first job!) in the #Seattle area. Canadian; moved from Montréal. Once infamous for making Barinsta, then promoted open source and federated platforms, now back to coding a lot. Public transport fan and avid radio listener. I am Pixy, or Cynni Pixy, or well, Playstation Pixy on this gaming account. I have waaaaay too many accounts on the FediVerse , driving many people nuts! (sorry about that folks ).

I am in my 40's, in the middle of it somewhere now, and I am female. But I never felt like a girly girl, and lately, I've been exploring my identity, and I feel like "Autienby" is what suits me best. For my profile image, I used the colors of the bisexual flag, as I made it before I realized that enby suited me better. But I don't feel attracted to a gender, I feel attracted to people, but that made me think that bi was best suited at the time. You may use she/her pronouns, but they/them are most welcome too.

I am single at the moment, have been since my messy divorce over 7 years ago. I lost my furry soulmate on July 4th this year, just 11 days shy of her 12th birthday. This year was *very* challenging for me, with many traumatic and very painful events happening. I am trying to recover, but currently still struggling with cPTSD symptoms.
I am diagnosed with depression, ADHD (with focus on the hyper bits), autism (what they used to call Asperger's...), hypermobility, fibromyalgia, Raynauds, and tinnitus... (yeah, it's a lot!). I am a spoonie, and my health affects my ability to enjoy gaming as much as I used to...

This is my gaming account, but I also use it for my other "entertainment" hobbies: TV series, movies, music, books, and recently also puzzles.

I always try to add decent alt text. I do use AI a lot to help me with the texts, as I struggle describing the important things in images. But I always try to add as much personal info as I can. 😊

I have been gaming for many years now. I started with the Game Boy with Tetris, and Super Mario Land was the first game I bought with my saved pocket money. I have an old European NES, a Wii, and the NES and SNES minis (with more games added to them 😇). I mostly use my "purple beast", my PS5 with the purple galactic plates. But I also have the PS4, PS3, PS2, and a PS One. There are also a PSP and a PS Vita in my collection, next to a Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, and a Game Boy Advance SP. I once lend my original Game Boy and Tetris to my ex BF and haven't seen them since... 😢

I am a terribly bad gamer! I have trouble seeing depth in games on the TV, and my reaction times aren't the best. Plus my hands struggle with bad thumbs, so yeah...

The games I've played the most, and finished several of, are the LEGO games. I had some help to get to 100% with some of the games, as LEGO added more "racing content" to their later games, and I'm not good with those.
I also enjoyed the story driven games by Telltale Games, and I had fun trying to finish the first 4 Dark Pictures games.
I played WoW many years ago. And I played Diablo 3 more than was good for me (on PC, on PS3, and on PS4). I've been enjoying No Man's Sky on and off again as well...

Here, I will try to share all my gaming bits and bops. And, recently I've taken up to making puzzles again, so I often make progress snaps of that as well. Sometimes I try to share some music. I stream via Tidal these days, no more Spotify for me. I do love to collect vinyls, if only they weren't so bloody expensive. But when I share music, I'll try to remember to convert the links through https://odesli.co/ so it should show you links to your favorite streaming service. 😊

I am a software developer with passion for digital technologies as means for enrichment of people's lives, and strong proponent of privacy rights.

The #OpenSource, and especially the #FreeSoftware, seems to me as the fair and right way, and in alignment with my ideals, because it gives true ownership into the hands of owners and users, for everyone.

Hence, the FOSS is very interesting to me.

Hej, jestem Adam, byłem wcześniej na polsocialu, ale ten chyba już nie wstanie, więc - jak wiele innych osób - nie mam jak zmigrować konta. Smuteczek, ale uroki fediwersu pozwalają w takich sytuacjach iść naprzód, choćby bardziej "od podstaw".

Krótko o mnie - gram na gitarze: postpunki (Sonda Kosmos - nowe konto także wkrótce się pojawi, muzyka - też wkrótce, ale pewnie chwilę później) i m.in. na gitarze, ale także na DYI synthach ambienty (#WAVE555 - bez konta, za to z hashtagiem), mieszkam w default city, ale lubię podróżować (właśnie zjeździłem lubuskie wzdłuż i wszerz i było super), nie jem niczego co ma oczy i bardzo polecam ten styl życia.

Postaram się odtworzyć bazę obserwowanych, jeśli macie ochotę, obserwujcie też mnie. Mam nadzieję, że przygoda na tej instancji będzie bardziej stabilna.

Postaram się nie odtwarzać bazy wyciszonych/zbanowanych. ;)
