Paso a ser el director de la Revista RIBES (@Revista__RIBES), Revista de Investigación sobre #Bibliotecas, #Educación y #Sociedad. El bloque formado por Secretaría y Dirección sigue siendo el mismo: Pablo Parra Valero y yo. Tras los 4 primeros años, hemos hecho un cambio de roles.
RIBES es una revista de acceso abierto diamante, sin pagos por leer, publicar, etc. Sin duda, el mejor #OpenAccess; y publicamos con CC BY y pertenecemos a una editorial de una universidad pública, la #UCM.

Okay so re: the #IgNobel -winning splash-free urinal design: the paper also includes a design for a splash-MAXIMIZING surface (the "urine-no") that can be attached to walls to discourage people from peeing on them.
(They also use the TTC [Toronto public transit] budget to estimate cleanup cost savings.)

My latest paper: "An Analysis of Market Subsidy Costs for Utility-Scale Renewable Energy Generation in the UK" has just been published #OpenAccess in Energies https://www.mdpi.com/1996-1073/19/12/2916
This work shows the costs of subsidising utility-scale renewable electricity generation in the UK, focusing on wind, solar and tidal stream technologies in the Renewables Obligation (#RO) and Contracts for Difference (#CfD) schemes.

It’s a statement in the special issue of Didaktik Deutsch on “Writing with AI,” in which I argue for more accurate terminology. LLM-based chatbots neither “write” nor “generate text”
