A black and white photo taken from the upper deck of the highline on 10th Ave. and 30th St. The photo shows two large metal beams with many screws in them. They are going vertically through the picture from lower left to upper right. The one closer to the bottom shows that the beam is actually a bigger piece of black metal underneath. There are other small parts of that material going from one of the beams upwards in the shape of a parallelogram. And a bit can see on the bottom as well. Between the beams can be seen the top of a black car and beside it can be seen the half circle of a manhole. Above the beam on the top can be seen a small part of a sign and to the right is just black shadows. The sun is also casting some lighter shadows over the photo.

One year ago today I posted this practically shot Iron Giant photo I created using real figures, lighting, miniature sets & my trusty old tin foil for water technique & cotton wool for the splashes.
