Just published a guide on setting up Snac on an Ubuntu VM using NGINX Proxy Manager. Snac is an incredibly lightweight #ActivityPub server. A true nom nom among fediverse platforms.

Today @fedify launched an @opencollective to support the project.
@hongminhee has been doing amazing work on it. 
Fedify has shown itself to be one of the most promising ways for other projects to become part of the #fediverse. If you liked seeing Ghost (@index) make such fast progress bringing in potentially thousands (millions?) of blogs and newsletters to the fediverse, this is what they are using behind the scenes! Does anyone have any experience with both #NodeBB 's and #Discourse 's #ActivityPub / #Fediverse integrations? I am wondering what each can and cannot do. I am familiar with NodeBB's federation but not with Discourse's one. It would be great if there was a comparison chart, but I haven't managed to find anything like that. Thanks!

Kia ora fedizens, a few months ago I was shoulder-tapped to take on stewardship of fediverse.party. One of a bunch of websites that aim to gather lots of useful info about the fediverse in one place. This is a project I've been a casual contributor to for years, and I really want to see it maintained. So I said yes.

A day in the European Parliament, thread
I am totally mindblown, seriously feeling like I am on another planet.
For the first time in my life, I set foot inside the #EuropeanParliament, welcomed by Benedetta Scuderi, the most awesome Member of the European Parliament (#MEP), who I am so honored to be calling my friend.
As she is super busy, I just had the chance to chat with her over a quick lunch in the canteen of the parliament (what an incredible place). I basically talked about the #Fediverse non-stop ahahahah
After that, it was marvellous to walk around that immense building together with Benni’s super lovely assistants, who were so kind to allow me to accompany them while they were busy doing 4385904 things.
