Sunset in Zion National Park, Utah. The last light of the day warms the towering sandstone cliffs while the Virgin River winds through the valley. Autumn colors along the riverbanks add another layer of beauty to one of the Southwest's most spectacular landscapes.

The photographs depict an old wooden house in the background, partially hidden by trees and shadow. In the foreground, the emphasis is on burdock stems with large leaves and prickly inflorescences, illuminated by the sun. The entire scene is done in black and white, which gives the image a slightly nostalgic and atmospheric aesthetic.

Took a while to get this shot. Naturally, all the best lightning strikes were happening just out of frame behind the rooftops 😆.

A nighttime photograph showing a deep purple sky illuminated by a distant thunderstorm above a residential area. In the top right section of the sky, a thin, jagged bolt of lightning streaks downward. Below the sky, dark rooftops of houses are silhouetted, with one house lit in a soft pink glow on its side. In the background, city or shore lights glisten across a calm body of water.

A lush canopy of vibrant green deciduous trees frames a central path through a dense, misty forest where profound silence prevails. The leaves overhead form a natural archway, filtering light and fading into a soft, glowing mist in the background. A simple dirt track, grassy in the centre, leads directly into the thick white mist, creating a strong sense of depth. Deep shadows at the bases of the trees in the foreground contrast with the ethereal brightness of the fog ahead.

As the year comes to an end, I want to share my four favorite photos I shot this year. Descriptions of the photos are in the comments.

Find more of my work on https://thorstenzobel.com/.

A river flows through a flat and green valley. On the horizon stretches a mountain whose meadows and stones are bathed in an orange light by the setting sun.

A dark forest overgrown with ivy is populated by fireflies flying around. The fireflies are visible as yellow blurred dots and contrast beautifully with the bluish forest.

A vertically taken photo showing the blood moon high above over Frankfurt's illuminated skyline.

Macro shot of three small mushrooms (one large and two small) growing on green moss. The group of mushrooms is illuminated from the side with yellow light, creating a beautiful contrast with the green moss.

A photo taken from near the base of a mature tree, looking in an upward direction. The crown of this tree has yellowish orange leaves during the autumn season. The trees around it still have green leaves, so the image looks a bit like a sea of colour surrounded by green. Patches of blue sky can also be seen around the top of the tree. The trunk of the tree is about one and a half feet in diameter. The photo definitely has an autumn feel to it.

I took this photo of the Aletsch Glacier about 10 years ago. I’m going back there next week to see what’s changed.

#MountainMonday

#monochrome #blackandwhite #blackandwhitephotography #photography #photo #fotografie #photographie #fotografia #landscape #landscapephotography #Switzerland

This monochrome photograph captures the vast expanse of the Aletsch Glacier winding through a rugged mountain range. Deep longitudinal ridges are carved into the frozen surface, tracing the glacier's path towards the valley floor. In the foreground, a field of coarse rocks provides a contrasting texture to the glacier's smooth flow. Beyond the snow, craggy peaks and snow-dusted summits rise sharply into the sky. The interplay of light and shadow defines every fissure and ridge within the frozen terrain. This scene captures the enduring scale of a landscape shaped by time.

Last few days to check out these story photos and read about how I got covered in non-human bodily fluids

#LosAngeles #California #Photo #Photography #Ad #Ass #Boobs #Butt #EGirl #Lewd #NSFW #Naked #Nude #Nudity #Pussy #SelfPromo #SexWorker #Tits #LetyDoesSelfPromo

Promo photo of Lety on bending forward on a rocky shoreline to show off the sunblock on her butt during a bright, sunny afternoon for her November 2020 VI 4x Plus Story. From top to bottom, her visible attire consists of: a wide-brimmed straw hat; round, silver-tone sunglasses; a pulled-aside white bikini top; and white thong bikini bottoms. Lety is on top of some craggy boulders on a rocky ocean shoreline, the ocean off-camera behind her as she stands over a spread-out gray-with-white-stripes Turkish towel and some bottles of sunscreen. She's leaning forward at a 90-degree angle, her knees bending inwards and her palms bracing against the towel and rocks for support, while she points her ass at the camera. Lety's bikini top is pulled aside, but her tits are hidden behind her sunblock-covered ass in the foreground. She's smiling back over her right shoulder with her tongue out, happy to waste some more time posing before attempting to conquer her fear of swimming by trying to snorkel.

Up and Away

I like photographing multi-storey car parks. Usually there’s a good view from the top floor, and I’ll always find something interesting inside too....

A wide-angle landscape photograph of a railway station at sunrise. A very long freight train sits on the tracks to the right, silhouetted against a bright orange sun low in the hazy sky. To the left is an empty concrete platform bordered by a low wall and trees. Overhead electrical catenary wires and metal structures crisscross the upper frame. A single small bird is perched on one of the high wires on the right. The overall color palette is dominated by warm oranges, yellows, and deep shadows.

The Creature met an ancestor! 🦣 🦴 🏛️

#TheLaBreaTarPits #LosAngeles #California #Fossils #Merchtodon #Paleontology #Photo #Photography #Plushtodon #LetyDoesSelfies

Photo of Lety and the Creature Mastodon stuffed toy standing in front of a mastodon museum exhibit under warm, indoor lighting. From top to bottom, Lety is shown wearing a short, white, long-sleeve dress with red floral print and brown sandals. Her body is roughly facing the camera, the Creature in her arms, as she turns her and the Creature back towards her left to look up at the massive fossilized skeleton of an American mastodon. On the floor between Lety and the skeleton is an exhibit sign reading “American mastodon”, “(Mammut americanum)”, “2 million to 10,000 years ago”, with a map showing the species' historical range across North America and some other out-of-focus text. In the background are several other museum visitors viewing smaller fossil displays in glass cases along a back wall.

I captured this photograph at the Albury Botanical Gardens.

The Albury Botanic Gardens are a botanical garden located in the city of Albury, New South Wales, Australia. The garden was established in 1877 and forms an example of the mainstream ideas about gardening in the 19th and 20th centuries. Wikipedia

This image shows a lush garden filled with flowering plants and accompanied by a classic lamppost. Sunlight filters through the trees, illuminating the scene beautifully.
