Our first Indonesia trip had two parts. First we went to Ubud and then we finished the trip on Gili Trawangan. But we also had one night in Padangbai in the middle so we could get the earlier boat to Gili Trawangan. We couldn’t waste that day so after arriving we walked through some jungle to find the beach

Bardzo mi się podoba rewitalizacja centrum Warszawy. Powstał ciąg pieszy jakie pamiętam z Hamburga czy innych miast z zachodu Europy sprzed wielu lat. Wreszcie i u nas.

No to ostatnia fotka z Warszawy w tej serii. Od jutra Japonia;-) Tylko najpierw trzeba dolecieć;-)

Czarno-białe zdjęcie Pałacu Kultury i Nauki w Warszawie, widzianego na wprost z placu przed budynkiem. Monumentalna wieża z zegarem dominuje w centrum kadru, otoczona współczesną zabudową miasta. EuroTripping – Colmar, France

On our last full day staying outside Basel in late June, we decided to drive north to visit the Alsatian town of Colmar.

When I planned our whole trip, I had slotted an excursion to Zurich into the itinerary but as the weather was still overly hot and we had already seen the gridlock on the roads getting from our side of Basel eastwards (or anywhere in Switzerland for that matter), we thought an easy drive up to visit a French village with picturesque canals and colorful half-timbered buildings might be a nicer way to beat the heat.

It was a sizzler, I won’t lie, but the old town had shade to offer and feasts for the eyes. It’s definitely a town worth a wander. Here are some images, mostly shot around Colmar’s old town, with a surprise at the end.

Bangkok never really slows down — and Pratunam proves it.
From above the street, Bangkok unfolds in layers: busy traffic, colorful taxis, motorbikes, tuk-tuks and pedestrians moving between the high-rise buildings of Pratunam. On the right, Platinum Fashion Mall dominates the scene, while the dense city continues far into the distance.
As a travel and documentary photographer exploring Thailand and Southeast Asia, I’m drawn to scenes like this because they show Bangkok as it really feels — crowded, energetic and constantly moving.
I chose 47mm at f/9 to keep the street, vehicles and surrounding architecture sharply defined. 1/1250 sec freezes the traffic from this elevated viewpoint, while ISO 100 preserves clean detail and color in the daylight.
